Alhassan Wunpini Childhood Biography
Alhassan Wunpini was born on December 16, 2001, and grew up in the Northern part of Ghana. He was the last born of his family. Wunpini's father, Alhassan Andani, works at School for Life an NGO company.Alhassan Wunpini's Childhood
From Wunpini's biography we found out that he did not attend any computer school, and when Wunpini was about 12, he used android studio to create an application like Whats app but more advanced, which he called “Newgrowth12 Chat” It made all the computers and phones connected to each other and allowed to transfer messages among people in the shortest possible time . His father installed the messenger on his phone and his NGO office, and he shared it with his friends working in the NGO company. Wunpini also enjoyed developing communication tools and as he said he was doing it just for fun. His father, Alhassan Andani, encourage him to do more and he registered him to a company for them to sponsor him and give him advice on how to market his product.
The Rising Of Newgrowth-Social Networking
One of Wunpini's brother called Mohammed Andani spoke with the idea of creating a social network.Mohammed Andani, he is a scout commander, and he had ideas of how to go about social network so the problem with the initial capital for the future network could be solved easily.
In conversation with Wunpini, Mohammed said that the project would be called Newgrowth (looking at the growth of knowledge in our young generation), and its members would post on the Internet their photos, personal information, and useful links. The tasks of Alhassan Wunpini included programming of the site and creating a special source code, which would allow the system to work as quickly as possible.
After a private meeting with Mohammed,
Wunpini agreed to join in the work, but the potential of his new partner he
estimated skeptically. While working on Newgrowth, whiles he was attending a
school called Evangelical Church of Ghana School, in Junior High School.
After all the hard work of Wunpini in writing codes and research and getting ideas from his brother Mohammed, it was finally successful. After it was finished, it was only his classmates and family members. On the 16th of May, 2016 Newgrowth social network was opened for every one to use.
Newgrowth became accessible for all member across the world. Wunpini still believed that his project is a
social network for his friends and family, but the interest of users to Newgrowth grew
exponentially. Then it was decided to make a registration accessible to
the public.
